Smartdeck Work Centers
Flip Open to use the keyboard and the flat panel monitor.
Flip down and lock and the table becomes a regular classroom table.

All tables feature Grey laminate worksurfaces with 14-gauge steel bases, 1" thick top and cord management. The extended base supports tha back and front so the table will not tip over.

Tables are available with your choice of four trim color packages. See chart below. The trim package on tables includes edgebands and toe kicks. A cord management bin also acts as a modesty panel which runs the entire width of the table under the worksurface. Tables include a UL-Listed, four-outlet electrical unit as well as a CPU harness which can be attached on the inside or outside of either leg (72" tables come with two CPU harnesses). WORK SURFACE

The work surface is 36"W or 72"W and the depth is always 24"D. SmartDeck is constructed from 1" thick, high pressure laminate with a 45 lb. density particleboard substrate and 1/4" Vinyl PVC "T" molding. The 35SD21 work surface includes a single monitor/keyboard door that springs open for use and folds down flush with the work surface when closed. The monitor/keyboard door may be locked in the closed position with a key, two keys are provided. The 35SD25 include two monitor/keyboard doors and four keys. The work surface is height adjustable from 24" to 32" in 1" increments and meets ADA requirements.

BASE AND CORD MANAGEMENT
The leg assembly is constructed from 18-gauge and 14-gauge steel tubing and is pre-assembled to the bottom of the work surface. An 18-gauge steel modesty panel runs the width of the table and is pre-attached between the legs and to the underside of the work surface. The modesty panel doubles as a cord management bin, which also runs the width of the table and has a 4"H front and is 1-1/2"D. A steel mechanical bin is mounted to the underside of the work surface and is powered by a gas shock to raise the monitor/keyboard door up when computers are in use. All SmartDeck models include a UL listed, 4-outlet electrical unit that mounts to the cord bin. The electrical unit has surge protection, an on/off switch and a 20' power cord.

MONITOR AND KEYBOARD BIN
SmartDeck is designed to hold most flat screen computer monitors up to 17" diagonal. The monitor mounts to the underside of the work surface door using the VESA compliant mounting holes built into the back of the case. VESA compliant mounting holes must be located at or in the approximate center of the casing and may not be recessed. SmartDeck will work with a majority of 17" monitors on the market but due to the constant changes in design there are monitors that are not suitable for SmartDeck. For general guidelines, monitor cases that are 20"W x 14"H and are not more than 4"D when combined with the keyboard will work with SmartDeck. Monitors with VESA compliant mounting holes located at the bottom of the case will not work with SmartDeck. Specific monitor models must be pre-tested with SmartDeck to guarantee compatibility.

CPU HOLDER
The CPU tower leg harness is constructed from steel and mounts to the inside or outside of the leg. Some CPU towers may not fit inside the leg depending on the height of the tower and the height the work surface is set at. 36"W models comes with one CPU holder and the 72"W models come with two holders. The CPU holder is adjustable to hold towers 6-1/2" to 11-1/4"W x 15-1/2" to 19-1/2"H.

FINISH AND TRIM PACKAGE
The work surface is a Grey Mist laminate with PVC T-molding around the edge. The PVC T-molding and toe caps are available in Quartz, Cardinal, Polo or Topaz. Steel components are finished in a Grey Mist powder paint that resists chipping and scratches. Connections SmartDeck Work Centers may be special ordered in any laminate, paint and trim finished offered by Bretford.

RECYCLED CONTENT All Connections SmartDeck Work Centers are constructed using "prime" steel that has a 25% to 35% post-consumer recycled steel content. The laminate substrate is constructed using a minimal of 40% and average 70% recycled content. Steel components are finished in a powder paint that is reclaimable and greatly reduces volatile organic compounds.
